Beginning individual outpatient therapy after your IOP program can help you continue the progress you have made.

IOP programs are designed for teens and adults who benefit from multiple therapeutic sessions per week, including group sessions and one-on-one sessions with a therapist. After completion of such a program, you or your teen may have been recommended to continue care in weekly individual therapy. Outpatient therapy is essential to continue the progress made in the IOP program, build support outside of your program, and provide regular management of symptoms.

Continuing treatment after your IOP program helps you adjust to caring for your mental health independently and promotes utilizing skills and coping strategies you have acquired as you transition out of IOP. Our team is experienced in assessing whether an individual is best suited to transition from an IOP program to individual, weekly therapy. Please keep in mind, this service is not intended to be an alternative to an IOP program or other structured treatment programs. If we feel that your clinical needs would be better served in an alternative setting based on your intake with us, we will provide you with appropriate referrals.
